Treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) is a complex medical and social problem. Pain is one of the most frequent symptoms in patients with multiple sclerosis. It considerably reduces quality of life of patients. Short data on types and prevalence of pain syndromes among patients with multiple sclerosis are presented in this article. There were examined 141 patients with multiple sclerosis. The analysis of pain frequency is carried out; rare forms of pain syndromes at MS are described. Lower frequency of complaints of pain syndromes among patients receiving multiple sclerosis disease modifying drug is specified.
