The worsening of children′s nutrition, which took place last decades, leads to deviations in physical development and progress of related diseases. 174 schoolchildren with different parameters of physical development were asked about their nutrition and lifestyle in non-anonymous poll. Significant eating disorders were found in all respondents. But we also revealed that overweight children are more physically active and have more proper eating behavior than others. It probably can mean that assessment of children′s nutrition by non-anonymous polls is not objective in this category of schoolchildren.

Key words: nutrition, physical development, assessment of nutrition, overweight.
