The expression of cytokeratins СK7, СK20, СК34Е12 was studied in 24 follicular adenomas drugs, 16 follicular cancers drugs and 19 papillary thyroid cancers drugs. Expression of СK7 (83.33%) and lack of expression of СК34Е12 was characteristic for follicular adenomas. Follicular cancer drugs had CK7 expression in 100% of cases and CK20 and СК34Е12 were not detected. Lack of CK7 expression, high frequency of CK20 and СК34Е12 definition (89,47-94,74%) was typical for papillary thyroid cancer. Comparison of the data may be useful for differential diagnosis of thyroid follicular neoplasia.
Key words: cytokeratins, thyroid, follicular adenoma, papillary carcinoma, follicular carcinoma.
