The article presents the results of long-term dynamic examination of 6 patients (2 men, 4 women) with a reliable diagnosis of granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) with various clinical manifestations and severe course of the disease, who received rituximab (RTM) for a period of 1 to 3 years. The results were evaluated by the end of the first year of treatment. Against the background of therapy, there was a positive clinical effect, a decrease in the laboratory activity of the disease, and a decrease in the dose of glucocortico-steroids (GCS). Five patients are in drug-induced clinical remission. The article also presents a clinical case of one of the patients. The use of RTM in patients with GPA can provide a positive clinical effect and remission of the disease, provided the diagnosis is stated timely.
Key words: systemic vasculitis associated with antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibodies; microscopic polyangiitis; rituximab.
