The article presents treatment results of 127 high-surgical-risk patients, who underwent 79 open operations on extracranial branch of carotid arteries and stenting of 61 carotenes. Early health outcomes in both study groups were analyzed. Scoping the risk of surgical intervention, correction tactics of surgical stenosis in high-risk patients was proposed.
Key words: atherosclerosis of carotids, carotid endarterektomiya, carotid stenting, high surgical risk.
