A new non-linear spinal traction technology is described in which a low traction force is applied to a patient placed in a physiologically comfortable position in combination with mechanical roll and vibratory massage producing analgesic and myorelaxing effects. This approach made it possible to extend the scope of indications for the use of spinal traction for the treatment of patients with disfiguring dorsopathies. An excellent stable outcome of therapy was achieved in patients with vertebrogenic and diskogenic neurological manifestations both in the phase of complete remission and during the periods of acute or subacute disease. The treatment with the new medical technology resulted in the improved quality of life and working ability of the patients and enabled them to adequately respond to static and dynamic loading.
