The review is devoted to the up—to—date directions of improving medical assistance to women in case of the required early pregnancy termination. The article presents the data concerning the broadened indicators for medicamentous techniques application, as well as the time constraints for abortions. The optimal doses of mifepristone, the doses and regime of misoprostol application are described. We also consider the completion of the incomplete spontaneous or induced abortion, as well as the uterus emptying at missed abortion and pregnancy termination at the later stages. The author believes that medicamentous techniques of early pregnancy termination has its advantages and is going to fully substitute the surgical techniques.
