Distant analysis of ECG and computerized electrocardiography ― modern alternatives to classic «paper» solutions

The paper is devoted to the modern computerized electrocardiographs and computer-based systems for distant analysis of ECG. The general principles of forming the systems for distant analysis of ECG are discussed, accompanied by examples.
The advantages of computerized electrocardiographs are described, compared to traditional devices with thermal printing. The necessity of broader application of the distant analysis of digital ECGs is proved, which will increase the urgency and quality of ECG diagnosing and provide the compatibility of the obtained data with medical informational systems.
