Aortic dissection is one of the most severe, rare, and life-threatening conditions. It is most common in elderly men and is associated with arterial hypertension, advanced aortic atherosclerosis, chest injuries, congenital anomalies in the structure of connective tissue and aortic intima. We present clinical cases of ascending aortic dissecting aneurysm analyzer the risk factors, other cardiovascular diseases and their complications in patients. It was noted that dissecting aneurysm began to occur more often in patients of young working age. In cases of uncontrollable arterial hypertension, it is necessary to carry out differential diagnosis with myocardial infarction. Timely diagnosis and referral for surgical treatment saved the lives of both patients.
Conclusions. In clinical practice, cases of aortic dissection in young working-age men are becoming more common. If there is a history of arterial hypertension, it is necessary to control the blood pressure and to be wary about not only myocardial infarction, but also aortic dissection. With the development of a dissecting aortic aneurysm, timely diagnosis and treatment using surgical methods can save the patient’s life.
Key words: aortic dissecting aneurysm, hypertension, atherosclerosis, early diagnosis.
