The article views the issues of terminology, etiopathogenesis, clinical picture, and diagnostics of a bronchial obstruction syndrome in children of early age, the differential diagnosis, criteria of bronchial asthma diagnosis at this age, issues of the differentiated therapy and the prognosis.

Key words: children, acute bronchial obstruction during ARTI, bronchial asthma, diagnostics criteria.
