Clinical results were studied of myopia correction by LASIK method and with the VisuMax® Femtosecond Laser with Femto-LASIK and ReLEx Smile technology in the early postoperative period and one year after operation. 90 patients (180 eyes) were selected for research. All methods showed high visual results in early postoperative period; however technologies with femtosecond laser showed more stable refraction results in remote period. Due to the use of one laser, ReLEx Smile technology creates more comfortable conditions for a patient during operation, shows the best results of visual acuity and refraction in remote period.
Key words: femtosecond laser, Femto-LASIK, ReLEx Smile.
