Peroneal nerve is one of the most amazing nerves of the human body. It is considered in the review depending on the level of damage and the etiological factor. The anatomical and topographical characteristics of the peroneal nerve and its branches are describes. Clinical and diagnostic features of the various embodiments of the peroneal nerve damage are provided.
Key words: peroneal nerve, peroneal neuropathy, diagnostics.
