    The study included 60 patients suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis who were observed in the department of neurology and a polyclinic of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. G.G. Kuvatov since 2012 until 2015. Clinical symptoms, rate of progression and possible risk factors currently do not differ from those described by other authors.

    Key words: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, the Republic of Bashkortostan.
