The article discusses a clinical case of transient global amnesia in a 52-year-old patient against the background of excessive psychoemotional overstrain and hypertensive crisis. The debut of the disease occurred in early October 2018 in the form of a decrease in memory. Mnestic disorders regressed during the day without memory recovery for the period of amnesia. In neurological status: cerebral and meningeal symptoms are negative. The patient is emotionally labile, criticism of the disease is reduced. Memory for today’s events is reduced. Color duplex scanning of the extracranial divisions of the brachiocephalic arteries showed signs of diffuse atherosclerotic changes in the walls of the vessels of the brachiocephalic trunk, blood flow within the normal age range, and the vertebral arteries not straightforward.
