Clinical and anamnestic features of female patients with external genital endometriosis combined with grade I cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

The purpose — to determine the clinical and anamnestic features of patients with a combination of external genital endometriosis and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
Material and methods. A clinical and anamnestic examination was performed on 52 patients with external genital endometriosis combined with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade I (main group) and 51 patients with external genital endometriosis (comparison group).
Results. We found that the patients of the main group significantly more often suffered from alimentary obesity, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, urinary system, and skin of viral etiology. The anamnesis included sexually transmitted infections, medical abortions, non-developing pregnancy, and secondary infertility. Half of the patients of the main group more often had bacterial vaginosis and aerobic vaginitis. The patients of the main group significantly more often had a recurrent course of endometriosis.
Conclusion. The data allow obtained assessing the contribution of intraepithelial cervical lesions to the development of recurrent forms of the disease in order to select optimal tactics aimed at preventing polyproliferative pathology of the reproductive organs in young women.
