The aim of this work is to describe the right-sided chronic mesotympanitis complicated by Mouret’s mastoiditis, perisinus abscess and breakthrough of pus into the paratonzillilar space. The article is based on the practical case. The disease was accompanied by a concomitant chronic pathology: chronic cerebral ischemia of the second degree, alcoholic Korsakoff syndrome, chronic alimentary-toxic hepatitis, and chronic pyelonephritis. The patient has undergone the extended antromastoidotomy with an exposure of the sigmoid sinus. As a result of the treatment, the patient has recovered.
Key words: Mouret’s mastoiditis, chronic purulent mesotympanitis, perisinus abcsess, paratonsillar abscess.
