The article presents the results of intra-operative research of the thickness of donor cornea with the portable optical coherent tomograph iVue-100. During hypothermic preservation in storage media Eusol-C, the cornea fiber hydration increases. The average minimum thickness of donor cornea was 642.9±40.8 µ. basing on multifactor regression analysis, we have found the statistically reliable dependence of the thickness of donor cornea kept under hypothermic conditions on the time period since the donor’ death. The optimal femtolaser parameters (VICTUS femtolaser device) for penetrating trepanation of donor cornea were identified, which allowed to carry out complete high-quality trepanation and avoid additional use of cutting tools. The reduction of the storing period of donor cornea allows to decrease the energy impact on the fiber of donor cornea.
Key words: femtokeratoplasty, hypothermic storage, optical coherent tomography.
