 The assessment was made of the main changes in myocardium in children with paroxysmal atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (PAVNRT) according to an echocardiography (ECG). 27 children with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia without organic pathology of heart and 22 healthy children as control group were investigated. The research was conducted in the conditions of specialized cardiologic unit during 3 years. Morpho-functional changes of a myocardium were found in children of both groups. Significant (р<0.05) changes of echocardiography parameters (thickness of an interventricular partition in a systole, thickness of an interventricular partition in a diastole, left auricle size, index of mass of a myocardium) allowed to draw a conclusion about the changes of hemodynamics, compensatory hypertrophy, disturbance of function of heart, i.e. the arrhythmogenic dysfunction of a myocardium at children with a atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia.
