 The article describes a clinical case of a young patient presenting with retrosternal pain at rest, ST-segment elevation on the electrocardiogram, and elevated cardiospecific biomarkers of myocardial injury. These symptoms manifested against the background of an acute respiratory viral infection, accompanied by fever and malaise. Given the suspected acute coronary syndrome, coronary angiography was performed immediately; however, it revealed no stenotic lesions of the coronary arteries, thereby excluding an ischemic etiology. Further in-depth examination led to a diagnosis of the pseudo-coronary acute myocarditis. This case underscores the vital importance of differential diagnosis for acute myocarditis in patients with clinical features of ACS, particularly in young individuals with a viral infection.
