The article presents the results of culture testing for M. hominis and U. urealyticum in 665 residents of the Republic of Mordovia. Patients, who were screened for genital infections, had high frequency of detection of U. urealyticum (66,3%) and M. hominis (23,4%). M. hominis cultures were highly resistant to midecamycin (76,0%) and lincomycin (50,0%); low resistant to doxycycline (6,0%), ciprofloxacin (6,0%) and ofloxacin (8,0%). U. urealyticum cultures were resistant to erithromycin (96,7%), azithromycin (84,9%) and roxithromycin (61,5%); sensitive to doxycycline (7.69%) and clarithromycin (13,0%). Data for the different levels of antibiotic resistance of U. urealyticum cultures, obtained from men and women, were received.

Key words: Micoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, antibiotic resistance.
