The article presents the results of 746 psychiatric emergency calls. The most common causes of psychiatric emergency calls were revealed, the structure of cases was analyzed, depending on the reason to call, and their validity was assessed. The analysis of patients’ contingent was carried out. The problems of providing emergency psychiatric care are described, as well as causes, decreasing the efficiency of its organization. Recommendations for improvement of emergency psychiatric aid were offered.
