High-tech diagnostic imaging in modern medicine provide accurate, informative diagnostics. However, they often do not provide timely results due to the complexity of the equipment, long-term interpretation of results, involvement of a large number of professionals, which ultimately eliminates the positive result because of delayed provided specialized medical care. The article describes the diagnostic algorithm for patients with diabetic foot syndrome, developed at the Center for «Diabetic Foot» Kazan allowing in the shortest possible time to move from the diagnostic stage to timely specialized treatment.

Key words: diabetic foot syndrome, transcutaneous pulse oximetry, diagnostic algorithm.
