Acetic acid chemical burn of the upper gastrointestinal tract with necrosis of the jejunum

In the article a clinical case report of the treatment the young patients with severe chemical burns acetic acid, complicated by total necrosis of the jejunum, generalized peritonitis, acute renal failure. He was hospitalized in RCH in 2012-2013. Described the managment of the patient, the surgical treatment, postoperative period. In 2014, a team of doctors RCH involved in the treatment of this patient awarded «The Calling» Russia’s best doctors in the nomination «For carrying out a unique operation that saved the man’s life».
