The article presents the results of 8 years of experience in laparoscopic cholecystectomy through single access in the treatment of patients with uncomplicated gallstone disease from November 2009 to March 2017. Statistical analysis was performed for such parameters as gender, age, body mass index, anesthesia risk degree, duration of surgical operation, need for analgesics in comparison with traditional laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Special attention was paid to the peculiarities of surgical technique and the type of instruments used in the procedure. The authors studied and demonstrated the intraoperative and postoperative complications, conversion to the traditional laparoscopic cholecystectomy, or introduction of additional trocars and causes of these changes in technique. It is shown that the use of single-port cholecystectomy is not accompanied with severe complications and can be performed for appropriately selected patients.
