 The article views the issue of treating the traction injuries of sciatic nerve combined with fracture of femur. Indications for certain types of operations are determined, depending on the dynamics of clinical manifestations and electro-neuromyographic data, which determine the type of lesion of the nerve stem. The optimal tactics of treatment is proposed, which provides positive outcome with restorationof the function of the injuried exttremity.

Key words: electro-neuromyography, axonal and demyelinizing types of lesions, neurolysis, nerve suture, autonerve plasty.
