Fluorescein angiography (FAG) is an indispensable method to evaluate the morphological and anatomical and topographic changes in the fundus of patients with diabetes mellitus. With the advent of the Topcon OFFISS ОМS-800 microscope with a filter for intraoperative fluorescein angiography it became possible to conduct intraoperative retinal vascular angiography for identifying areas of exposure and the amount of laser photocoagulation of the retina.
Key words: proliferative diabetic retinopathy, fluorescein angiography, endolaser coagulation of the retina.
