Syndrome of thrombotic micro-angiopathy in life-threatening complications of pregnancy and labor in women

The article presents the data on thrombotic micro-angiopathy (TMA), the basis of which is lesion of micro-circulation vessels with microthrombi in capillary and arteriole lumen, thrombocytopenia, micro-angiopathological hemolytic anemia and multiple organ failure. It is shown that TMA syndrome can develop in various pathology in obstetric practice, requiring different approaches to therapy. The authors’ clinical observation of TMA syndrome in a woman in labor is presented.
