An outcome analysis of surgical treatment of severe aortic valve stenosis with low left ventricle ejection fraction is carried out. The study included 38 patient who participated in the study of changes in the functional parameters of the heart after aortic valve replacement in the presence of cardiopulmonary bypass. The result showed improvement in left ventricular ejection fraction by 10% (p=0,003), and the beginning of the reverse remodeling of the heart. The operation brings satisfactory clinical results.
Key words: severe aortic stenosis, low left ventricle ejection fraction, aortic valve replacement.
