The article contains data about the state of vasoactive mediators in adolescents with different clinical andfunctional versions of essential hypertension. In children is marked increasing concentration of endothelin in plasma and serotonin in serum which is dependent on level of arterial pressure. At the same time differently directed indicators of nitric oxide and serotonin in patient’s blood platelets are revealed depending on the stage of the disease, which indicates the activation of compensatory-adaptive mechanisms already in the early stages of hypertension development. In the course of the process aggravation secondary mechanisms of compensation are activated due to chronic hyperactivation of vasomediator systems.
Key words: essential arterial hypertension, adolescents, endothelin, serotonin, nitric oxide.
