The paper presents the factors influencing health of adolescents and its features compared to the health of their peers in the past century. Morbidity, disability rate and number of deaths from external causes increase in senior adolescents. It is shown that the school environment and physical load influence children’s health. The optimal way of life of the modern schoolchildren remains the key factor determining the children’s health. The problems of the reproductive health of adolescents are listed. The tasks for the family, the school, and the society to form children’s health are expounded.
