    The article presents a review of MEDLINE, EMBASE and Cochrane Library data regarding the cases of a special form of ectopic pregnancy — in the scar after cesarean section. A total of 2037 women with BCS are described. The review presents existing methods of diagnosis and treatment of this kind of pregnancy, their effectiveness, and own observations of the authors.

    Key words: ectopic pregnancy, scar pregnancy, diagnosis, tactics of treatment.
