The broad spread and high degree of invalidization after obliterating diseases of the lower extremities determine the necessity to broaden the list of available laboratory and instrumental diagnostics techniques. This research shows the possible use of radionuclide diagnostics for a qualitative and quantitative assessment of perfusion of lower extremities with the planar (two-dimensional) sсintigraphy 99mTc-MIBI. Comparative analysis of muscles of the right and left shins allowed to discover the most ischemic muscle groups at rest. Combination of the investigation with the loading test (flexion-extension of feet at ankle joints) allowed to estimate the functional reserve of the blood flow and the supposed degree of artery lesions in the lower extremities.
Key words: chronic ischemia of the lower extremities, 99mTc-MIBI (Tekhnetril), scintigraphy of the lower extremities.
