The article presents the results of studying the provision of vitamin D in children from the group of medical and social risk with perinatal affection of the central nervous system (including infantile cerebral paralysis), from mothers with alcoholism and using psychotropic drugs, who underwent bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia two or more times a year, and also children with signs of rickets. The low availability of vitamin D in children from the groups of medical and social risk is determined. Without prophylactic prescription of vitamin D medications increases risk of vitamin D insufficiency (less than 4 ng/ml) almost 5 times (p <0,05) and variants of vitamin D deficiency (5-20 ng/ml) — 6 times (p<0, 01).
Key words: children, early age, vitamin D, colecalciferol.
