The article presents the results of the histomorphological study of uvula tissues, which were taken during the molecular resonance ablation in 23 patients of different age groups with sleepy snoring. In all cases various pathological changes have been identified, caused by prolonged traumas of palate tissues with snoring. The most significant changes were observed in the older age group. The findings play a significant role in the study of the disease pathogenesis and in the developing of treatment methods.
Key words: snoring, histomorphology, uvula, molecular resonance ablation.
