In this article is studied the content of the marker Ki-67, the activity of the exfoliative processes, the number of degranulated mast cells in the connective tissue structures of the periodontium of patients burdened with chronic generalized periodontitis. Also, has been established the oppression of proliferation processes in the structures of the stratified squamous epithelium of the gums, the increase in the content of degranulated mast cells, the reinforcement of the exfoliation processes in the keratinized epithelium in the patients of the study group. The findings make actual search of methods of proliferative processes regulation in the epithelium of the gingiva.
Key words: chronic generalized periodontitis, a marker of proliferation Ki-67, mast cells, exfoliation of epithelial cells.
