Retrospective and prospective research of non-penetrating type surgery peculiarities was carried out at 39 patients with I-III degree initial open-angle glaucoma, who previously took, for antihypertensive purposes, 2 types of prostaglandin F2α analogies with preserving agents and without them. The factors determining glaucoma surgery effectiveness were examined: way of filtration ballast formation, frequency of ciliochoroidal detachments, and persistence of antihypertensive effect. The research confirmed the influence of previous using of prostaglandin F2α analogies – inflammation mediators, on factors’ strength, the effect was less without the preserving agents. The research determined the effectiveness of preoperative replacement of antihypertensive therapy with prostaglandin F2α analog for other antihypertensive medicaments. The effectiveness of non-steroidal antiphlogistics was defined in postoperative process optimization according to the formation of intraocular fluid outflow tract in the given group of patients. The conclusion was made about significance of surgical stage of antihypertensive therapy on initial open-angle glaucoma at early stages. Recommendations for practicing ophthalmologists and ophthalmosurgeons were formulated.
Key words: primary open-angle glaucoma, glaucoma surgery, cicatrization process, analogies of prostaglandin F2α, non-steroidal antiphlogistics.
