New approaches in local drug treatment of infected wounds in soft tissues

The article presents the results of treatment of 112 patients with various infected wounds of soft tissue, aged from 26 to 82 years. Among these, 8 patients (7.2%) were with a soft tissue abscess, 19 (16.9%) with infected wounds in soft tissue, 7 (6.3%) with postoperative wound suppuration, 40 (35.7%) with infected trophy wounds and 38 (33.9%). infected with bed sores. In the comparison group, conventional methods of closed and open treatment with active drainage of infected wounds in soft tissues were used in 74 (66.1%) patients. In the main group – 38 (33.9%) patients- the closed and open methods were used, but with the developed drainage and compositions based on xymedone. The new approaches allow to expand the indications for early imposition of early secondary sutures on the wound during open treatment in a general surgical hospital.
