Morphological and functional characteristic of eardrum tissues and results of meringoplastic at different stages of remission after chronic othelcosis

The article presents morphological-functional characteristic of the eardrum tissues in dogs at different stages of remission after experimental chronic othelcosis and evaluation of results of myringoplasty which was performed in clinic under the experiment. In 30 dogs staphylococcal chronic othelcosis was promoted by three-time intake in tympanic cavity of 1 ml of suspension containing 5 bln of daily aurococcus culture during one month. After 40 days of otitis promotion, all animals were treated till the «dry ear», then myringoplasty was performed. The results of morphofunctional research of eardrum tissues and the transplant showed that the most optimal for operation are the first two weeks after liquidation of phlogistic eyesores in medium ear. Clinical part of work consists in performance of myringoplasty on 35 patients with chronic othelcosis at different stages of remission. The best morphological and functional results of myringoplasty were received from the patients, on whom operations were performed in the first two weeks of remission. The results are proved by the data of experimental investigation, which indicated that in these period of remission the regenerative activity of eardrum epithelial tissues is the highest.
