In the recent decades, negative trends in adolescents’ health are being marked. According to official statistics, the indices characterizing incidence in schoolchildren have significantly changed; the indices of mortality and disability remain alarming. The article discusses the problems of physical, neuro-mental, reproductive health of adolescents, ability to adapt to a complex of unfavorable impacts of family and social factors in this critical period of human development. Topical issues of medical provision at schools are considered.
