The article views various methods of minimal invasive treatment of urolithiasis applied in Republic Clinical Hospital, their effectiveness in the treatment of emergency conditions in urolithiasis. Such surgery methods were considered as extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL), contact ureterolithotripsy with extraction (CULE), ureterial stent placement and percutaneous nephrostomy. The study included patients with renal calculus (46) and ureteral calculus of different level (the upper third (129, the middle third (74) and the lower third of the ureter (115)). These patients were treated on an emergency basis during the first 24 hours of hospitalization. The effectiveness of ESWL was 87.9 % and CULE efficiency was 92.4%. Thus, it was found that the minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment of patients with urolithiasis are an effective way of treatment at the first stage of hospitaization.

Key words: urolithiasis, shock-wave lithotripsy, contact ureterolithotripsy, renal colic.
