    The article presents literature data about threats and prevention of thromboembolic complications at the replacement of lower extremities large joints — the special role of hemostasis indexes, determination of thrombosis various risk factors that can lead to venous occlusion at replacement of large joints. Methods for predicting thromboembolic complications in early postoperative periods and different modern preventive methods (non-drug, specific and combined) are presented. Some modern pharmacoprophylaxis regimens are described. On the basis of different studies the effectiveness of anticoagulants from different groups are demonstrated in patients in the postoperative period.
