Мicrocirculatory disorders in patients with early stages of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

This is a study of microcirculatory disorders and indicators of endothelial dysfunction in smokers (without COPD) and patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of stage I and II using laser doppler flowmetry with measurement of the ankle-brachial index, lipid metabolism indicators, level of the C-reactive protein, and the Willebrand factor. It was found that smokers with no signs of COPD have dyslipidemia without significant systemic inflammation and endothelial dysfunction. Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on the background of severe dyslipidemia at an early stage of the disease have a different marker of endothelial damage, mainly C-reactive protein and the Willebrand factor, indicators of microcirculation reflecting the activation of regulatory mechanisms, the growth of stagnation and arterial spasm in the microvasculature.
