Objective ― to present the features of interstitial involvement in rheumatic diseases. To describe the main morphologically variants of interstitial lung lesions associated with systemic diseases of the connective tissue ― nonspecific interstitial pneumonia and ordinary interstitial pneumonia.
Material and methods. Analysis of images of high resolution computer tomograms of 7 patients of the Pulmonology Department of the RCH MH RT with a mixed disease of connective tissue with damaged pulmonary interstitium.
Results. In 6 patients, the RCT pattern of nonspecific interstitial pneumonia was identified, in 1 patient, probable usual interstitial pneumonia was identified. In 4 patients, a ground glass symptom was identified, in 3 patients mild traction bronchiectasis and reticular changes were revealed. All patients have pneumofibrosis. A decrease in lung volume was determined in 6 patients. An increase in intrathoracic lymph nodes was detected in 3 patients.
Conclusion. High-resolution computed tomography plays a major role in the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases, while image features are often nonspecific. For proper diagnosis, a combined assessment of clinical signs, serological tests, results of pulmonary and extrapulmonary imaging, and sometimes biopsy of lung tissue is necessary.
Key words: rheumatic diseases, ordinary interstitial pneumonia, non-specific interstitial pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases.
