A retrospective analysis of the course of pregnancy and delivery in 90 women was carried out. Pregnancy proceeded with complication in 70.4% of cases. It is shown that prolongation of pregnancy is possible if there are large and giant sizes of uterine fibroids. In pregnant women with fibroids of the uterus, fetoplacental insufficiency, delay in fetal development, preeclampsia is observed no more often than in pregnant women without uterine myoma. Pregnant women with uterine fibroids constitute a high-risk group, requiring careful pregravid preparation and special attention of a female consultation doctor.
Key words: uterine myoma, pregnancy, reproductive age.
