The article presents the results of a survey of 122 children with functional dyspepsia. From the standpoint of the biopsychosocial model of the formation of functional disorders, the role of Helicobacter pylori in the development of abdominal pain was studied. It was found that in children not infected with Helicobacter pylori and infected with CagA-negative strains, non-gastrointestinal factors dominate in the functional dyspepsia pathogenesis, while in children with CagA-positive strains of Helicobacter pylori, inflammatory factors dominate, which violate the mucosal homeostasis.
Key words: children, functional dyspepsia, biopsychosocial model, Helicobacter pylori, CagA-antigen.
