    The complex examination of 26 children with congenital aniridia revealed the presence of its combination with different pathologies of anterior and posterior eye segments (congenital glaucoma, congenital cataract, corneal opacity, hypoplasia of the retina and optic disc, etc.), certain anatomical and functional features of eyes, postoperative complications. The complications should be considered when evaluating the prognosis of this disease and choosing the treatment and follow-up for these children.

    Key words: congenital aniridia, congenital glaucoma, cataract, trabeculectomy, cataract extraction, penetrating keratoplasty, postoperative complications.
