The article presents the results of a survey of 128 patients of working age who underwent cholecystectomy with laparoscopic and minilaparotomy access. To assess the effectiveness of accelerated physical rehabilitation, the patients were divided into two groups: I – the main group (n = 91), where rehabilitation treatment was conducted in a sanatorium and II – the group of comparison (n = 37), which was observed on an outpatient basis. According to the results of the examination, a high incidence of risk factors for the development of cholelithiasis was noted. After the treatment, there was a clinical improvement, expressed positive dynamics of the quality of life, which was used for accelerated postoperative rehabilitation with a sanatorium stage. One month after the operation, the patients who underwent accelerated postoperative rehabilitation and the sanatorium stage had significantly fewer complaints and clinical manifestations characteristic of the postcholecystectomy syndrome than those who were observed outpatiently; more significant improvements in the quality of life in the sphere of psychological health in patients who underwent accelerated rehabilitation with the use of a sanatorium stage; a different level of compliance with the recommendations prescribed by the doctor, and the proportion of people adhering to the prescribed recommendations was significantly higher in the group that underwent rehabilitation in the sanatorium, compared with rehabilitation in outpatient settings.
