The results of the research of bone remodeling markers and bone mineral density in patients with dentoalveolar anomalies with associated inflammatory-destructive periodontal diseases. It is shown that in patients with generalized periodontitis and malocclusion, the level of bone destruction markers was significantly higher than in patients from the comparison group. Possible mechanisms are discussed relating to deviant disruptive loading influence on the metabolism of jaws bone tissue.
Key words: dentoalveolar anomalies, periodontitis, bone metabolism markers, densitometry.
