The topical problem today is the COVID-19 pandemic. The disease is characterized not only by damage to the lungs, but also by severe disturbances in the work of other organs, primarily the cardiovascular system. Disturbances in its functioning are often manifested in the form of myocarditis, pericarditis, heart failure, and rhythm and conduction disturbances of varying severity. Based on a clinical example, it is shown that one must be especially vigilant in identifying cardiovascular complications in the delayed period in patients who had had COVID-19 in any form; some aspects and difficulties in diagnosing such lesions are presented.

Key words: COVID-19, coronavirus infection, post-COVID period, cardiovascular complications, myocarditis, arrhythmias, heart failure.
