There was conducted a comparative study of psychopathology and pathopsychological phenomena and syndromes (anosognosia, alexithymia, addictive attraction, affective disorders) in patients with drug and gambling dependence. 64 patients (59 men and 6 women) were included in the study: 33 patients with drug dependence and 31 patients with gambling dependence. A significant connection (p<0,05) between the risk of addictive behavior and indicators of social maladjustment, accentuation in this category of patients, and anosognosic adjustments (+0,74; p<0,05) correlate with high level of alexithymia. It is concluded that the comparative data on the similarity of pathopsychological predisposition and psychopathology symptoms in patients with different types of addictive disorders demonstrate the unity of mechanisms of ethiology and pathogenesis of various addictions.
Key words: drug dependence, gambling dependence, comparative addictology.
